Journey Prince

Journey Prince “displays the desire to achieve greatness,” says Career Exploration teacher Kevin Varner of this 8th grader in his class at Tyner Middle Academy. “Journey is highly motivated to complete assignments,” he continues and notes that the student has completed her Career Exploration course for high school credit one month ahead of her course end date! 

Journey says that “learning new things” was her favorite part of the course and that her fellow online students should, "stick through [the work], because it is worth it." Journey hasn’t made a final decision about her future career but said, "The course did help give me ideas of what I should do.” We applaud Journey’s exceptional work ethic and recognize her as a Village Virtual Star Student!
